Wheelchair Angels is a non-profit, Christian-based organization dedicated to providing wheelchairs to disadvantaged children in the Holy Land.

For many of these children, getting a wheelchair creates an almost incomprehensible lifestyle change:  they are able to move–on their own, for the first time.  These are children who have spent their lives in bed, depending on others to carry them from place to place, but the delivery of a wheelchair changes all of that.

The retail price for a wheelchair can exceed $5,000, putting this medical necessity out of reach of most Israeli and Palestinian families; however, through our partnership with Hope Haven International we are able to purchase wheelchairs for only $200 (visit the Our Partners tab for more details).  These wheelchairs are delivered by Wheelchair Angel volunteers and meticulously fit for each child’s specific illness, injury, or disability.
